Women’s Lacrosse Travels to Bloomsburg

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Holy Family University women's lacrosse team traveled to Bloomsburg for a non-conference matchup on Wednesday, falling to the Huskies 4-18. 
 
Individual Highlights
  • Nicole Wiser (Langhorne, Pa./Villa Joseph Marie) had more than double the amount of ground balls as any other player with seven and also made 11 saves, both of which were season-bests
  • Payton Pugh (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert Catholic) led all players with five draw controls
  • Lexi Ryan (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) had a team-high two caused turnovers and also netted a goal
    • Ryan was second on HFU with three draw controls and three ground balls, with Elle Fitzgerald (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) and Renee Althoff (Lancaster, Pa./Solanco) finishing with three ground balls too
  • Taina Harkins (Hopewell, N.J./Hopewell Valley Central) and Abby Perkins (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) both had two points via a goal and assist, with Julie Gallardo (North Brunswick, N.J./North Brunswick Township) also scoring
