Women’s Lacrosse Welcomes Shippensburg to Tiger Field for Home Opener

PHILADELPHIA – The Holy Family University women's lacrosse team welcomed Shippensburg to Tiger Field for its home-opener on Saturday afternoon. 
 
The Raiders outscored HFU 2-7 in the first quarter en route to a 7-21 win. 
 
Individual Highlights
  • Tori Wolstenholme (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert Catholic) led all players with eight draw controls and also had an assist
  • Rianna Shields (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock South) netted a hat trick - and added an assist - to move into second in program history with 169 career goals
  • Lexi Ryan (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) tied a game-high with two caused turnovers
  • Jocelyn McLaughlin (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) and Elle Fitzgerald (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) tied for a team-high with two ground balls apiece
  • Taina Harkins (Hopewell, N.J./Hopewell Valley Central) scored twice, with Payton Pugh (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert Catholic) adding another
  • Nicole Wiser (Langhorne, Pa./Villa Joseph Marie) made four saves in net
