Nishorn Pierre (Grenada/Jamaica College) has been named the Most Outstanding Athlete of the East Coast Conference (ECC) Indoor Track & Field Championships.
The senior won a pair of gold medals in the jump events as the Tigers won their third consecutive title on Sunday, highlighted by breaking the meet record in the triple jump with an NCAA Provisional Mark of 15.16m, which tops the league, ranks second in the NCAA East Region and sits seventh across all of NCAA Division II.
Pierre also cleared 2.03m to win the high jump and placed fifth with a mark of 6.81m in the long jump to bring his point total to 22.
Holy Family won the meet with 147 points, 14 ahead of runner-up Roberts Wesleyan.
