HFU freshmen James Demakopoulos (Carle Place, N.Y./Carle Place) and Noah Simpson (Oshawa, Ontario/Henry Street) have both received weekly awards from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) for their performances in the Tigers' season-opening win at Davis & Elkins on Saturday. 
 
Demakopoulos was named the CACC Goalkeeper of the Week after saving 10 of the 19 attempts he faced en route to earning the win in net, while Simpson was selected as the CACC Rookie of the Week after registering four points on two goals on and two assists.
