The HFU Women's Basketball Team received two of the three weekly awards handed out by the Central Atlantic Colligate Conference (CACC) offices following its 2-0 week, it was announced on Monday.
Kaelah Carter (Watervliet, N.Y./Shaker (The College of Saint Rose)) was named the CACC Player of the Week for the first time in her career, while
Ella Brown (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) received her first career CACC Rookie of the Week honor.

Carter averaged 17.5 points, shooting 56.3 percent from 3-point range (9-of-16) and 54.2 percent from the field (13-of-24). She added 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steals per contest.
The senior began the week with a team-high 23 points, highlighted by making 7-of-11 triples, in Tuesday's win at Chestnut Hill.
Carter then hit the eventual game-winning 3-pointer with 52 seconds left in Sunday's 54-51 triumph over UPR-Bayamon, in which she finished with 12 points.
Ella Brown (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) – CACC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week
Brown averaged 6.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game, highlighted by pouring in a season-high 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting at Chestnut Hill.
She then had four rebounds, two assists and a steal in the victory over the Cowboys.
