Men’s Basketball Surges Past Molloy, 98-90

PHILADELPHIA – The Holy Family University Men's Basketball neared the century mark in a 98-90 victory over Molloy inside of the Campus Center on Sunday afternoon.

Trailing 73-75 entering the final seven minutes, a Najee Coursey (Egg Harbor City, N.J./Cedar Creek (Sacred Heart University)) jumper sparked an 11-3 surge that ended with a Matt Gardler (Broomall, Pa./Marple Newtown) pull up that put the Tigers ahead 84-78 with 4:15 to play.

The Lions scored on each of their next two possession, but HFU countered with 3-pointers by Di'Andre Howell-South (Paterson, N.J./Immaculate Conception (Wagner College)) and Gardler, before the Tigers sealed the victory with eight free throws in the final 1:19.
