LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – The HFU women's soccer team shutout a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent for the second time in four days, defeating Lincoln 4-0 on Tuesday evening.
The Tigers outshot the Lions 23-1 as
Hannah LaBadie (Penndel, Pa./Neshaminy) was forced to make just one save, which came in the 54th minute.
Gigi Conlan (Queens, N.Y./St. John's Preparatory School) opened and closed the scoring, first with an outside-of-the-box strike 5:04 in before making a darting run into the box in the 74th minute to complete her first collegiate brace.
She is now second on Holy Family this season with four goals, while
Kyleigh Murphy (Bensalem, Pa./MaST Community Charter School) notably picked up her first collegiate assist on the opening score.
A pair of Tigers then netted their first collegiate goals for HFU's second and third, with
Samantha Pastino (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) heading home a
Gyzell Rowan (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy) corner in the 30th minute and
Kayla Balisalisa (North Wales, Pa./North Penn) converting a penalty in the 70th.
Rowan now leads Holy Family with three assists on the year.
