PHILADELPHIA – The Holy Family University women's soccer team opened the scoring against second place Caldwell on Saturday afternoon at Tiger Field.
It would take CU just 1:09 to answer though, before the Cougars eventually pulled away for a 1-4 final.
Allison Devine (Douglassville, Pa./Berks Catholic) netted her first collegiate goal when she headed home
Kenna Rozanski's (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Lower Moreland) headed flick on 11:15 in.
Following CU's response
Gigi Conlan (Queens, N.Y./St. John's Preparatory School) and Devine combined for three shots on target, and
Jaina Preuhs (Brookhaven, Pa./Sun Valley) made five saves, before the Cougars took the lead just after half hour mark.
Caldwell then scored twice in the opening 11:29 of the second half to close out the scoring.
Preuhs finished with nine stops, before
Hannah LaBadie (Penndel, Pa./Neshaminy) came on to make three.
