PHILADELPHIA – The Holy Family University women's soccer team hosted No. 14 Jefferson at Tiger Field on Tuesday evening, falling to the nationally-ranked Rams 0-4.
Jaina Preuhs (Brookhaven, Pa./Sun Valley) saved a penalty just 3:46 in, but Jefferson would score on its next attempt on frame in the 19th before making it 0-2 less than six minutes later.
The play was much more balanced in the second half, with TJU holding a 5-7 edge in shots, but the Rams would find the net two more times including just 4:14 out of the break.
Preuhs made three saves, while
Rylee Kaufmann (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) fired the Tigers lone attempt on frame.
