PHILADELPHIA – The Holy Family University women's basketball team had its highest scoring performance in regulation in nearly 12 years in a 95-69 victory at Chestnut Hill on Wednesday night.
HFU's 95 points were its most in a regulation game since it had 96 in a win at Georgian Court on Jan. 12, 2012, while the Tigers' 85.7 3-point percentage (12-of-14) was the best by a Division II team since Barton went a perfect 11-for-11 on Feb. 1, 2020.
Additionally, Holy Family's 58.6 field goal percentage (34-of-58) was its highest since shooting 62.5 percent (35-of-56) in a win at Wilmington on Jan. 4, 2023.

How it Happened
- Chestnut Hill's only lead came when it opened the contest with 3-pointer, as HFU responded with the next seven points
- The Griffins got as close as 9-8 four minutes into the first, but Carter scored the Tigers' final eight points of the period for a 27-20 cushion following 10 minutes of play
- A Riepe 3-pointer established the first double-digit advantage, 32-20, 47 seconds into the second, but CHC fought back to within three twice, including at 39-36 entering the final minute
- A Prevost three-point play made it 42-36 going into the locker room, and after the Griffins opened the second half scoring, Searfoss converted on a 3-pointer and a three-point play
- Following a CHC layup, Searfoss made it a double-digit lead for good with two free throws that extended the advantage to 50-40 just 2:12 out of the locker room
- That began eight unanswered that featured a Carter 3-pointer and ended with another Prevost three-point play that put HFU on top 56-40 with 6:47 left in the third
