WATERBURY, Conn. –
Sergio Revuelta's (Valladolid, Spain/IES Alejandria) 59th minute strike, and
Luke Shank's (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) career-high 10 saves, earned the HFU men's soccer team a point at three-time defending Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) champion Post on Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles would equalize in the 73rd minute of the 1-1 draw, exactly six and a half minutes after a Holy Family red card.
The Tigers did well to restrict opportunities following the red card, limiting Post to just three attempts on frame in nearly 34 minutes with 10 men.
Luiz Recchimuzzi (Bahia, Brazil/Life Center Academy) even forced a save 1:37 after the equalizer, before HFU held on in the final minute as Shank made his final save and an Eagles shot hit the post.
Revuelta led Holy Family with three attempts, two of which were on target, while
Joshua Moreland (Blackwood, N.J./Sterling) also shot on net.
Mohamed Bility (/) notably made his Tigers' debut.
Shank made five saves in each half, including stops less than a minute apart in the 57th and 58th just prior to Revuelta's goal.
