NEW CASTLE, Del. – The HFU volleyball team opened its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) campaign at Goldey-Beacom on Wednesday night, falling to the Lightning in three sets (18-25, 20-25, 17-25).
Individual Highlights
- Morgan Steck (Lakewood, Colo./Lakewood) fell two assists shy of a match-high with 28, while Gianna DiPilato (Verbank, N.Y./Millbrook) led the Tigers with nine kills
- Keira Rogan (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) and Cadence Plamer both had a team-best eight digs
- Ava Kidd (Walton, Ky./Larry A. Ryle (Saint Anselm)) and Kalia Espenlaub contributed seven and six kills, respectively
Inside the Box Score
- Holy Family had one more assist, 33-32, the same amount of digs , 37-37, and one less kill, 34-35, but the Tigers were undone by 21 attack errors and 12 service errors
