PHILADELPHIA – After a back-and-forth first set ended 22-25 on favor of Adelphi, the Panthers controlled the second and third en route to a sweep of the HFU Volleyball team on Tuesday evening in the Campus Center.  
 
Individual Highlights

• Shelby Kinzer (Sioux Falls, S.D./Washington) and Morgan Steck (Lakewood, Colo./Lakewood) led all players with three blocks, with Steck adding a team-high 13 assists

• Kalia Espenlaub (New Market, Md./Saint John's Catholic Prep (Millersville)) paced the Tigers with six kills, while Cadence Palmer (Holland, Pa./Council Rock South) had a team-best five digs

• Holy Family had a 5-3 advantage in blocks, and the Tigers also outhit AU .158-.030 in the opening set

 
How it Happened

• That first set began with four straight HFU points, the only team either team led by more than three
• Down 15-18, Kinzer had two blocks in a 5-1 stretch that put the Tigers on top 20-19
• Holy Family also led 21-20, but Adelphi would tally five of the final six points

• The Panthers then won sets two and three 12-25 and 10-25, respectively
