The Holy Family University Track & Field Program has received three major awards from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), the league offices announced on Monday.

The HFU women received the Team Sportsmanship Award for the fourth season in a row, while Nishorn Pierre (Grenada/Jamaica College) three-peated as the CACC Men's Field Athlete of the Year and Dwight Brandon earned his first CACC Men's Track & Field Coach of the Year honor.

The CACC Team Sportsmanship Award, voted on by the conference's head coaches, is presented to the team who demonstrates outstanding character during the season. The Tigers have now received four of the eight handed out in the history of the league.

Pierre was top-three in the conference in all three jumping events this year, including first in the high jump after clearing an NCAA provisional of 2.12m at Widener's Paul Donahue Invitational on April 19. The junior helped lead HFU to the program's first CACC Championship after placing top-two in all three jumping events for a total of 28 points. He cleared a CACC Championship record of 2.10m to win the high jump, while also claiming gold in the triple jump with a mark of 14.34m.

Brandon is now a six-time Coach of the Year at HFU after receiving his first CACC honor on the men's side. Holy Family won its first-ever CACC title this month, defeating defending champion Wilmington by 31 points as the Tigers won 14 medals, including five gold. An HFU student-athlete qualified for nationals for the fifth straight season as the Tigers had four student-athletes reach a total of five NCAA provisionals this spring.
