The HFU track & field program received four of the eight weekly awards handed out by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), for performances at the Penn Relays last weekend.

Nishorn Pierre (Grenada/Jamaica College) – Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Pierre reached two NCAA provisionals, highlighted by winning bronze in the triple jump with a mark of 14.69m.Â

The junior's other NCAA provisional came in the high jump, 2.06m, as he placed fifth.Â

Isaiah Davenport (Pleasantville, N.J./Pleasantville) – Men's Field Rookie of the Week
Davenport moved into second in the CACC in the high jump behind Pierre as he cleared 2.01m.

Kimani Smith (Smithville, Jamaica/Edwin Allen) - Men's Track Rookie of the Week
Smith was a part of the 4x400m relay team that won gold with a time of 3:20.76.

The freshman was also a member of the sprint medley foursome that broke a six-year-old school record after combining to cross in 3:34.02.

Maya Harper (Pleasantville, N.J./Pleasantville (Ursuline College)) - Women's Track Rookie of the Week
Harper was a part of the 4x400m relay team that won bronze with the second fastest time, 4:01.98, in the CACC this season.Â
