Women’s Lacrosse Hosts Wilmington for Regular Season Finale

PHILADELPHIA – The Holy Family University women's lacrosse team hosted Wilmington for its regular season finale at Tiger Field on Thursday night, falling to the Wildcats 6-17.

As the six seed in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament, HFU will travel to third-seeded Georgian Court for a 4 p.m. first round matchup on Monday. 
 
Individual Highlights
  • Tori Wolstenholme (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert Catholic) led all players with a career-best four caused turnovers and added a team-high four ground balls
    • She now ranks second in the program's single-season history with 36 caused turnovers on the year and seven all-time with 123 career ground balls
  • Payton Pugh (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert Catholic) also had four ground balls and added a team-high four draw controls, while finishing second on HFU with three caused turnovers
    • She is now 10th in the program's single-season history with 67 draw controls this year
  • Paige Affet (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower Catholic) had three caused turnovers as well, a new career-best
  • Rianna Shields (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock South) scored twice to move into third in program history with 189 career points
  • Olivia Kueny (West Deptford, N.J./Holy Cross Preparatory Academy) made 10 saves to move into eighth in the program's single-season history with 143 on the year
