Up Next
As the eight seed, Holy Family will travel to top-seeded Wilmington for a 12 p.m. first pitch on Saturday. The Tigers will need to win that game to force a second, with the winner of the second game advancing to the following weekend's double-elimination four-team tournament hosted at Wilmington.

Individual Highlights
  • Jaden Kelly (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) and Lily Hoban (Millsboro, Del./Indian River) had multiple hits in both games, with Kelly finishing 5-for-6 with two runs and an RBI and Hoban going 4-for-7 with a double, run and RBI
    • Kelly also stole a base to move into a tie for fifth in the program's single-season history with nine on the year
  • Both Holy Family starters earned complete game wins
    • Game one starter Makenna Patterson (Sellersville, Pa./Pennridge) worked around 10 hits to surrender just two earned
    • Kinsley Hall (Frankford, Del./Indian River (Mount Olive)) improved to 7-7, allowing just one earned on six hits
  • Carlie Miller (Hermitage, Pa./Hickory) joined Kelly with a three-hit performance in the opener
  • Kylee Jones (Hulmeville, Pa./Neshaminy (Rider)) and Alexis Letizia (Toms River, N.J./Donovan Catholic) both drove in three in game one, with Jones belting a three-run homer
    • Letizia added two more RBI in game two as she is now tied for seventh in the program's single-season history with 36 on the year

How it Happened
First Game
  • Holy Family had two four-run frames, taking the lead for good in the third
    • A one-out error got it all started, before back-to-back base knocks by Kelly (single) and Letizia (two-RBI double) put the Tigers on top for good
    • Following the second out, Lindsey Gorka (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy) (double) and Miller (single) capped the inning with back-to-back RBIs
  • HFU plated four more in the fifth, with a Hoban leadoff single and error proceeding Jones' home run
    • Three straight singles by Molly Moore (Conshohocken, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh), Rylee Hobel (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh) and Kelly and a Letizia walk then completed the scoring
Second Game
  • Trialing 0-2 entering the bottom of the sixth following an unearned run in the top-half, HFU broke out for four runs
    • Jones led off with a walk and after a Lauren Hagy (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) single, Moore sacrificed the two into scoring position
    • Hobel then drew a walk to load the bases, and Kelly got the Tigers on the board with a single
    • Letizia followed with the game-winner, a two-RBI double, before Hoban capped the frame with a sacrifice fly
  • Georgian Court threatened with two base-runners in the seventh, but Hall got out of the jam with no damage to secure the victory
