PHILADELPHIA – The HFU baseball team could not overcome a five-run Jefferson first in an eventual 3-14 loss to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South Division leader at FDR Park on Tuesday afternoon. 
 
Individual Highlights

• Joe Giansante (Mississauga, Ontario/John Cabot (Alliance University)) threw two innings scoreless relief, allowing one hit
• Emidio Bucci (Gambrills, Md./Loyola Blakefield (York College)) and Dalton Turner (Langorne, Pa./Neshaminy (Bucks County CC)) both reached base twice, with Bucci driving in a run

 
How It Happened

• Holy Family had an immediate response to Jefferson's five-run first, as Brian Comer (Charlotte, N.C./Independence (Bucks County CC)) led off with a walk, Nick Lombardo (Willow Grove, Pa./Upper Dublin (Bucks County CC)) followed with a double and Zach Morales (Barrington, N.J./Triton Regional (PSU-Abington)) drove in the Tigers' first run with a sacrifice fly
  • After the second out, Bucci made it 2-5 with an RBI single
• The Rams immediately came back with a run in the second and after HFU left two on base in the third, they broke it open with a five-run fourth
