PHILADELPHIA – The HFU men's lacrosse team hosted defending Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament champion Chestnut Hill on Saturday afternoon.
Prior to the game, the Tigers honored
Edward Miller (Philadelphia, Pa./La Salle College) as part of its first-ever Senior Day.
Adam Camille (Providence, R.I./La Salle Academy) found
Maxx Covely (Somerdale, N.J./Highland) to open the scoring 1:03 into the action, but the Griffins answered with the next 10 goals en route to a 3-23 final.
Individual Highlights
- Ben Blair (Rochester, N.Y./Penfield) Led Holy Family with seven ground balls
- Bryce Thomas (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg) was second on the Tigers with five ground balls, while making 19 saves in net
- Jhay Dameus (Willingboro, N.J./Holy Cross Preparatory Academy) and Brent McColligan (Bellmawr, N.J./Triton Regional) also scored on the afternoon
