Men’s Lacrosse Wraps Up Inaugural Season at Dominican

ORANGEBURG, N.Y. – The Holy Family University men's lacrosse team closed out its inaugural season at Dominican on Wednesday. 
 
Julian Definis (Glendora, N.J./Triton Regional) found Adam Camille (Providence, R.I./La Salle Academy) to tie it at 1-1 4:15, but the Chargers would score seven of the final eight goals of the first quarter en route to a 11-19 final. 
 
Individual Highlights
  • Defnis netted his fourth hat trick of the season, while Camille was one of five Tigers to finish with multiple goals
  • James Bienia (East Moriches, N.Y./Westhampton Beach) led all players with season-bests of four assists and six points and added a team-high five ground balls
  • Tyler Stahl (Bensalem, Pa./Archbishop Wood) tied a game-high with a season-best three caused turnovers, while Braden Kaukeano (Bellmawr, N.J./Triton Regional) was second on HFU with two
  • Jhay Dameus (Willingboro, N.J./Holy Cross Preparatory Academy) and Brent McColligan (Bellmawr, N.J./Triton Regional) also scored twice
    • Dameus and Daniel Fierimonte (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) were second on the Tigers with a season-best four ground balls apiece
  • Bryce Thomas (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg) made a season-high 24 saves
