Holy Family University's Nishorn Pierre (Grenada/Jamaica College) has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Track & Field Field Athlete of the Week for his performance at Widener's Danny Curran Invite over the weekend. 
 
It is the junior's first CACC Field Athlete of the Week award of the season and the seventh of his career. 
 
Pierre moved into first in the league in both the long jump and high jump, highlighted by winning the latter with a clearance of an NCAA provisional 2.04m.
 
His triple jump distance of 14.65m won him silver, and he also landed fourth out of 48 in the long jump with a mark of 6.83m, which is now third in the conference.
