PHILADELPHIA – Holy Family University baseball exploded for 30 runs in Sunday's sweep of Bridgeport at FDR Park, defeating the Purple Knights 14-5 and 16-5. 
 
Individual Highlights

• Zach Morales (Barrington, N.J./Triton Regional (PSU-Abington)) and Dylan Mercedes (Washington Heights, N.Y./St. Raymonds (Mansfield University)) had two hits in both games
  • Morales finished 4-for-6 with a home run, double, two hit-by-pitches, six RBI and three runs
  • Mercedes went 4-for-7 with two doubles, four runs and three RBI
• Gino Serechia (Hammonton, N.J./Hammonton (Shepherd University)) reached base three-plus times in both games, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, four walks, a hit-by-pitch and six runs
• Game one starter Christian Culver (Croydon, Pa./Harry S. Truman (Bucks County CC)) picked up a win in his fifth consecutive appearance, throwing a second complete game as he scattered four earned on eight hits 
• Game two starter Casey Murphy (Merion Station, Pa./Lower Merion (Ursinus College)) joined Culver at 5-1 as he allowed just one run on two hits over five innings, while striking out a season-high nine  
• Garrison Pregulman (Scottsdale, Ariz./Chaparral (Los Angelas Pierce College)) finished a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, two runs and two RBI in the nightcap
• Denis Szychulski (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge (Bucks County CC)) threw a perfect inning of relief in game two
• Aidan Crean (Philadelphia, Pa./Abraham Lincoln (Camden CC)) and Isaac Criss (Grove City, Pa./Grove City (Bucks County CC)) joined Morales in homering on the day
