The Holy Family University track & field program received three Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) weekly awards for performances at West Chester's Golden Ram Invitational on Saturday.
Sydonia Turner (Philadelphia, PA/Northeast) – CACC Field Athlete of the Week
Turner won both high jump and the long jump, moving into second in the league in the former with a clearance of 1.55m. She landed at 4.97m in the latter to top the field of eight.
J'kwann Hamilton (Smithville, Jamaica/Edwin Allen (New Mexico Highlands University)) – CACC Track Rookie of the Week
Hamilton won silver in the 400m hurdles, behind teammate
Terrence Jones (East Orange, N.J./William Allen/LCTI), with the third fastest time in the CACC this season, 57.31. He was also part of the 4x400m relay team that won with a time of 3:33.11.
Odane Smith (Saint Catherine, Jamaica/Edwin Allen) – CACC Field Rookie of the Week
Smith won gold in the long jump (6.64m) and silver in the high jump (1.75m), topping a field of 17 in the former.
