NORTH WALES, Pa. – Trailing 4-9 after four and 19-11 after seven, the HFU baseball team scored three in its final two at-bats to defeat Chestnut Hill in the program's first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game on Wednesday afternoon.

How it Happened
- Holy Family jumped out to a 2-0 lead on Leo's two-out double in the first, which featured with a Brian Comer (Charlotte, N.C./Independence (Bucks County CC)) single, Criss base on balls and Mercedes hit-by-pitch
- The Griffins answered by scoring in each of their next three at-bats to go ahead 4-9, cancelling out RBIs by Leo and Bucci in the top of the third with a three-run bottom-half
- Reliever Ian Malone (Bayonne, N.J./Bayonne (Desales University)) kept HFU in it with a scoreless fifth and sixth, and the Tigers knotted it up once more with a five-run seventh that featured both of their homers
- Following CHC responding with two in the bottom-half, it was Leo coming through with a two-out, two-RBI single after Morales had extended the frame with a base on balls
