PHILADELPHIA – The Holy Family University women's lacrosse team opened its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) schedule hosting defending champion Dominican at Tiger Field on Saturday.
The Chargers scored the first six goals, leading throughout in a 7-21 win.
Individual Highlights
- Payton Pugh (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert Catholic) led all players with four caused turnovers to became HFU's all-time leader with 70, surpassing Kacie Booth (2014-17)
- She is already tied for fifth in the program's single-season history with 23 on the year
- The junior also topped the Tigers with seven draw controls, while adding a goal and assist
- Tori Wolstenholme (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert Catholic) netted her third hat trick of the season, while Maura Kilkenny (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Little Flower Catholic) added two scores and finished on HFU with four draw controls
- Olivia Kueny (West Deptford, N.J./Holy Cross Preparatory Academy) made eight saved and matched Pugh, Julie Gallardo (North Brunswick, N.J./North Brunswick Township), Taina Harkins (Hopewell, N.J./Hopewell Valley Central) and Renee Althoff (Lancaster, Pa./Solanco) with a team-high two ground balls
