Women’s Basketball’s Taylor Hinkle Closes Season with Two More Honors

HFU's Taylor Hinkle (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South) has closed her 2023-24 campaign with two more honors, as she was named to the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-East Region Team and the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Tournament Team.

The Division II East Region consists of the 34 teams from the CACC, East Coast Conference and Northeast 10.

Hinkle was one of 12 student-athletes recognized, as she was selected to the second team.

The sophomore, who was voted All-CACC First Team, is third in the region with 13 double-doubles and sixth with 10.3 rebounds per game. Both of those rank top-19 nationally. Add in her team-leading 11.9 points per game, and she is one of four players in the region averaging a double-double.

Her 10.3 rebounds per game, 100 offensive rebounds, 288 total rebounds and 188 defensive rebounds now rank fourth third, tied for fourth, seventh and tied for eighth in the program's single-season history (since 1995-196).

Hinkle had double-doubles in both of Holy Family's CACC Tournament games to earn the All-Tournament nod, averaging 18.0 points and 11.5 rebounds.

She led HFU with 21 points and a game-high 11 rebounds in a quarterfinal victory at Felician, before pacing all players with 12 rebounds and added a team-high 15 points as the Tigers' pushed champion Jefferson to the brink in the semifinals.
