WATERBURY, Conn.- – Despite an even second half, the HFU men's basketball team could not overcome a slow start in a 59-78 loss at regionally-ranked Post on Thursday evening.

- Jason Shields (Scranton, Pa./Scranton (Jefferson University)) tallied the game's second highest total with 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting
- Ryan Holmes (Philadelphia, Pa./William Penn Charter School (CC of Philadelphia)) produced season-bests of 14 points and a team-high eight rebounds
- Tazir Cantey (Lindenwold, N.J./Eastern Regional) led the Tigers with three assists and three steals
- Aamir Hurst (Philadelphia, Pa./Neumann Goretti) was also in double-figures with 11 points
How it Happened
- Post scored the first five points and 11 of the first 13 as it led throughout
- An Ethan Pires (Dover, Del./The Pennington School (Millersville University)) 3-pointer momentarily made it a two-possession deficit, 7-13, five minutes into the action, but HFU could never get closer
- After trailing 22-39 at the half, the Tigers hung tough with the Eagles in a 37-39 second half
