How it Happened

  • The Chargers cut the deficit to four twice, including at 10-14, only for the Tigers to tally the final seven points of the opening period as a Kokolus layup gave them a 21-10 advantage after 10 minutes of play
  • The cushion never entered single-digits again, as HFU responded to DU getting within 22-12 30 seconds into the second with 17 unanswered in just 3:23
    • The run featured two 3-pointers from Riepe, the second of which made it 39-12 less than four minutes into the quarter
