HFU's Taylor Hinkle (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South) has been named both the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball (CACC) Player and Defensive Player of the Week. 
 
It is the junior's second CACC Defensive Player of the Week award of the season, as well as the fourth of her career. This is also her third career CACC Player of the Week nod. 
 
Hinkle had a double-double in all three games last week, averaging 18.3 points on 53.7 percent shooting and 11.7 rebounds per contest, while adding five assists and five steals. 
 
She first had a game-high 17 points, to go along with 10 boards, in Tuesday's win at Saint Leo. 
 
Hinkle then led all players with 17 points, 11 rebounds and three steals in Friday's 57-62 defeat to No. 3 Bentley. 
 
She closed out her week propelling HFU to an upset of No. 5 Seton Hill as she again had a game-high in boards, 14, while also leading the Tigers with 21 points on 7-of-11 field goals.
