How it Happened
  • The entire first half was played within two possessions as HFU trailed by no more than two points, with both times coming in the opening three minutes
  • Holy Family's last deficit came at 15-16 just over eight and a half minutes in, before the Tigers used seven straight to go ahead for good
  • A Ryan Holmes (Philadelphia, Pa./William Penn Charter School) free throw established the first of four six-point leads in the first half, 22-16, with 9:05 on the clock
  • Clark Atlanta got as close as two twice, but Shields beat the buzzer with a 3-pointer for a 37-32 halftime advantage
  • Four straight Ketner points produced the first double-digit cushion, 45-34, 3:38 out of the locker room
  • That was part of nine unanswered, capped by a Jett layup bringing the advantage to 48-34 with 14:35 remaining
  • The lead reached as high as 17, 53-36, on a CJ Mundell (Somerdale, N.J./Sterling) dunk with 11:46 left, and despite the Panthers surging to within five, 54-59, with 1:29 to go, Jeff sealed the victory by making 6-of-6 foul shots over the final 1:22
