HFU's Taylor Hinkle (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South) has received her first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Defensive Player of the Week award of the season. 
 
This comes after the junior was a two-time CACC Defensive Player of the Week honoree last year. 
 
Hinkle had 20 defensive rebounds, five steals and a block in 2-0 week in which the Tigers limited their opponents to 48.0 points per game on 28.8 percent shooting. 
 
She first had double the amount of defensive boards as any other player with nine, to go along with two steals, in Thursday's home-opening win over West Chester. 
 
Hinkle then posted game-highs of 11 defensive rebounds and three steals in Saturday's victory at Shippensburg.
