PHILADELPHIA – After sweeping North Division leader Post on Saturday, the HFU volleyball team swept Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South Division leader Georgian Court (25-13, 25-23, 26-24) on Tuesday evening inside of the Campus Center.
Individual Highlights
- Shelby Kinzer (Sioux Falls, S.D./Washington) and Jayden Bralts (Jupiter, Fla./Jupiter) were the only two players in double-figures for kills, with 12 and 10 respectively, with Kinzer adding a team-high three aces
- Morgan Steck (Lakewood, Colo./Lakewood) had more than double the amount of assists as any other player with 36, while Cadence Palmer (Holland, Pa./Council Rock South) led all players with 17 digs
- Kalia Espenlaub (New Market, Md./Saint John's Catholic Prep (Millersville)) had a team-high two blocks, to go along with seven kills
- Ava Kidd (Walton, Ky./Larry A. Ryle (Saint Anselm)) added eight kills on .467 hitting, while Leah Logan (Bloomfield, N.J./Abundant Life Academy) had five on .500 hitting

How it Happened
- After Holy Family controlled the first, the Tigers finally converted an eighth set point to hold off a GCU rally in the second
- HFU then completed the sweep with a set-ending 9-1 surge, on the serve of Brianna Moss (Gainesville, Va./Battlefield) that featured two kills from both Logan and Espenlaub, as well as aces from Steck and Kinzer
