BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – The HFU volleyball team narrowly dropped the first two sets, 23-25 and 24-26, in a defeat at Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) champion Bridgeport on Saturday afternoon.
Individual Highlights
- Jayden Bralts (Jupiter, Fla./Jupiter) topped the Tigers with a career-high 14 digs and nine kills on .389 hitting to fall just shy of her third career double-double
- Morgan Steck (Lakewood, Colo./Lakewood) led Holy Family with 23 assists
- Shelby Kinzer (Sioux Falls, S.D./Washington) and Leah Logan (Bloomfield, N.J./Abundant Life Academy) had seven kills apiece, a season-best for the latter
- Morgan Marziani-Radomski (Aurora, Ill./West Aurora) was also in double-figures with 10 digs, tying a season-high

How it Happened
- Holy Family led 20-16 in the first set following a Steck kill and Ava Kidd (Walton, Ky./Larry A. Ryle (Saint Anselm)) service ace, only for UB to close with a 3-9 run
- The Tigers nearly erased a 10-16 deficit in the second, staving off three set points thanks to kills from Kinzer and Bralts before Purple Knights finally converted a fourth
- Bridgeport won set three 17-25
