PHILADELPHIA – The HFU women's cross country team and
Emma McNamee (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert Catholic) both posted top five finishes at the 2024 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship hosted at Belmont Plateau on Sunday morning.
Holy Family totaled 124 points to place fourth amongst the 10 teams. The Tigers have now finished in the top four for four seasons in row.
McNamee is now a three-time All-CACC honoree, crossing in the top 10 in each of the last three years, after placing fifth with a 5K time of 20:44.3.
- Maya Harper (Pleasantville, N.J./Pleasantiville) and Zane McNeil (Pleasantville, N.J./Charter Tech) both finished in the top 25 of the field of 63 with respective times of 22:14.9 and 22:40.4
- Freshman Ava Cowden (Richboro, Pa./Archbishop Wood) (23:08.7) missed out on the top-half of the field by on position after completing the course in 23:08.7
- Fellow freshman Jada Peterson (Levittown, Pa./Harry S. Truman) made her CACC Championship debut as well, finishing in 24:34.2
