HFU's cross country swept the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week awards, with Ava Cowden (Richboro, Pa./Archbishop Wood) and Matthew Martino (Hammonton, N.J./Hammonton) both receiving the honor for a first time after they were the top finishing freshmen in the league at Rowan's Border Battle on Saturday. 
 
Both placed in the top-half of their fields of 119+ plus, with Cowden completing the women's 6K in a collegiate PR 27:30.9 and Martino finishing the men's 8K in 29:15.7.
