Morgan Steck (Lakewood, Colo./Lakewood) became the fourth student-athlete in HFU volleyball history to surpass 2,000 career assists in the Tigers' loss (23-25, 14-25, 22-25) at Chestnut Hill on Wednesday night.
Individual Highlights
- Steck led Holy Family with 20 assists to end the night with 2,015 for her career, while adding 10 digs for her second double-double of the season
- Cadence Palmer (Holland, Pa./Council Rock South) paced all players with 16 digs
- Jayden Bralts (Jupiter, Fla./Jupiter) (10 kills), Leah Logan (Bloomfield, N.J./Abundant Life Academy) (three blocks) and Kalia Espenlaub (New Market, Md./Saint John's Catholic Prep (Millersville)) (three blocks) all tied match-highs
- Ava Kidd (Walton, Ky./Larry A. Ryle (Saint Anselm)) was second on the Tigers with seven kills on .462 hitting

How it Happened
- Holy Family led 21-19 in the first, only for CHC to close the set on a 2-6 run
- After the Griffin won set two 14-25, HFU jumped out to a 7-1 advantage in the third as three different Tigers – Logan, Kidd and Shelby Kinzer (Sioux Falls, S.D./Washington) - registered kills
- Chestnut Hill would take the lead for good with a 1-6 surge that put the Griffins up 17-21 though, as HFU could only get as close as one twice
