Sibilia Becomes Program’s All-Time Wins Leader as Volleyball Sweeps Caldwell

PHILADELPHIA – Head Coach Collin Sibilia became the program's all-time wins leader with 91, passing Jeff Rotondo, as the HFU volleyball team swept Caldwell (25-14, 25-16, 25-17) as part of Homecoming Weekend on Saturday afternoon inside of the Campus Center. 
 
Individual Highlights
  • Sam Swenby (Evergreen, Colo./Evergreen (Loch Haven)) led all players with seven kills on .385 hitting and a career-best six blocks
  • Ava Kidd (Walton, Ky./Larry A. Ryle (Saint Anselm)) also had seven kills on .636 hitting, to go along with a match-high three aces
  • Cadence Palmer (Holland, Pa./Council Rock South) had three aces as well, while leading the Tigers with 10 digs
  • Morgan Steck (Lakewood, Colo./Lakewood) had more than triple the amount of assists as any other player with 25
  • Shelby Kinzer (Sioux Falls, S.D./Washington) was second on Holy Family with a career-best five blocks

  • The Tigers set a new season-high, out-blocking Caldwell 10-2
 
How it Happened
  • Tied at 14 in the first, HFU rattled off the final 11 points of the set highlighted by three Palmer aces
  • With Caldwell again at 14 points, 16-14, the Tigers took control with a 6-1 surge that ended with back-to-back Steck points
  • Facing its biggest deficit, 13-13, HFU broke away with five consecutive points that began a 12-1 match-ending run that featured four blocks, three of which involved Kinzer
