PHILADELPHIA – Holy Family women's basketball's
Carly Bolivar (Elmont, N.Y./Sewanhaka (Alliance)) made history with only the second official quadruple-double in NCAA Division II women's basketball history in the Tigers' 85-48 win over Wilmington on Wednesday night in the Campus Center.
The graduate transfer finished with 11 points and career-highs of 14 rebounds, 12 assists and 10 steals, the latter two of which led all players, to etch her name in the record books.
The only previous official quadruple-double in NCAA Division II history came on Feb. 8, 1997, when Fort Valley State's Tereska Watkins finished with 12 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 steals.
Colorado State Pueblo's Suzanne Gonzales notably recorded an unofficial quadruple-double with 13 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists and 11 steals on Feb. 11, 1989, before steals were considered an official NCAA Division II category.
Bolivar's 10 steals on Wednesday are tied for the most in an NCAA Division II women's basketball game this season, while the 12 assists are tied for the fourth most.
Individual Highlights
- Bolivar's 14 boards were actually not a game-high as Ava Morrow (Morgantown, Pa./Twin Valley) led all players with a career-best 16, to go along with a season and team-high 13 points for her first career double-double
- She added a career-best five assists
- Jenn Kokolus (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom) matched Morrow with 13 points, also her season-high, to go along with a season-best eight rebounds
- A total of six Tigers were in double-figures, with Anujin Dashdorj (Rockville, Md./Richard Montgomery) pouring in a season-high 11 on 4-of-5 field goals and 3-of-4 3-pointers
- Jessica Riepe (Marlboro, N.J./Marlboro) and Kara Meredith (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Archbishop Wood) chipped in with 10 points apiece, including making multiple 3-pointers, with Meredith adding a season-best seven boards
- Carolyn Prevost (Belle Mead, N.J./Montgomery) notably led all players with three blocks, to go along with eight rebounds

- Holy Family more than doubled up Wilmington on the boards, 65-32, for its most rebounds since grabbing 66 in a win over Mercy on Dec. 12, 2012
