RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Trailing 30-32 at the half, the HFU women's basketball team used a 20-11 third quarter to take control en route to a 69-62 victory at Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division leader Felician on Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Falcons opened the third with a basket for a four-point advantage and were still up 37-39 three minutes into the period before the Tigers closed the stanza on an 13-4 surge over the final 6:42.

Carolyn Prevost (Belle Mead, N.J./Montgomery) layup with 5:34 showing put HFU on top for good as she was one of five Tigers to score in the stretch, which ended with five consecutive
Jenn Kokolus (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom) points capped by a 3-pointer for a 50-41 edge.
Felician got as close as two possessions once, at 57-51 with 5:22 left in the fourth, but
Taylor Hinkle (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South) immediately responded with a jumper 22 seconds later for a three-plus-possession lead for good.

- Hinkle had more than double the amount of rebounds as any other player, a career-best 18, while adding a team and season-high 18 points for her second straight double-double
- Ava Morrow (Morgantown, Pa./Twin Valley) led all players with a career-best six assists
- Kara Meredith (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Archbishop Wood) tallied a season-high 14 points, while Prevost added 13
- Kokolus and Carly Bolivar (Elmont, N.Y./Sewanhaka (Alliance)) both scored seven, with Claire Dougherty (Lehman, Pa./Lake-Lehman) contributing six
