How it Happened
Game One
- Holy Family had the tying run reach base in both the sixth and seventh
- Trailing 2-6 entering the seventh, singles by Dydak, Jones and Miller loaded the bases with two away
- Ciasullo cut the deficit to 3-6 with her RBI single, but Shippensburg was able to get the final out
- The Raiders scored twice in both the first and third, before Jones got the Tigers on the board with her solo home run to lead off the fourth
- With the score at 1-4, Jones and Miller led off the sixth with back-to-back singles and Ciasullo walked to load the bases with none away
- Tidaback was able to drive in one via a sacrifice fly, but the Raiders evaded further damage before registering a third two-run frame in the bottom-half
Game Two
- Jones' leadoff single in the third led to first run after a hit-by-pitch by Ciasullo and RBI single by Lauren Hagy (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan)
- HFU stranded runners in scoring position in each of its at-bats in the second through sixth though, which finally came back to cost the Tigers when Shippensburg finally got to Ciasullo with all three of its three runs in the fifth
