BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – The HFU women's lacrosse team closed out its regular season with a 13-8 win, the Tigers' fourth straight, at Bridgeport on Saturday afternoon.
Holy Family's eight overall wins seven conference victories are both at least tied for most since 2015.

- Tori Wolstenholme (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert's) led all players with nine draw controls, tying a season-best, and she paced HFU with four points via two goals and a match-high two assists
- Wolstenholme now ranks fifth in the program's single-season history with 81 draw controls on the year
- Mackenzie Santucci (Columbus, N.J./Northern Burlington Regional (RCBC)) and Tatceyana Pulley (Edgewater Park, N.J./Burlington City) also had two assists, with Santucci and Payton Pugh (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert's) tying a match-high three caused turnovers
- Santucci ranks eighth in the program's single-season annals with 65 points after adding a goal, while Pulley is fifth all-time with 36 career assists
- Pugh is now tied for second in the program's single-season history with 28 caused turnovers
- Lynn Hardy (Audubon, N.J./Camden Catholic) had four points via four goals, which tied a career-best, while finishing second on the Tigers with four draw controls
- Hardy added two ground balls to move into 10th in program history with 114 for her career
- Maura Coleman (Lower Moreland, Pa./Little Flower) led Holy Family with five ground balls, the second most in the match
- Emma Hurley (Willow Grove, Pa./Upper Moreland) made six saves to move into eighth in the program's single-season annals with 142 on the year
- Rianna Shields (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock South) also netted a hat trick, her seventh in a row, to move into ninth in program history with 140 career points

How it Happened
- The two teams alternated two goals apiece twice to begin the contest, with HFU leading 4-2 after 15 minutes following two first quarter goals by Hardy before UB tied it 5:03 into the second
- The Tigers scored the final three of the half over the final 8:01 to take the lead for good though, as Hardy completed a first half hat trick and Pugh made it a 7-4 cushion 1:01 ahead of the break
- Bridgeport got as close as 7-8 with three of the first four goals of the second half, the third of which was with 3:29 left in the third
- Santucci answered 1:02 later though, establishing a multi-goal advantage for good as Shields opened the fourth period scoring with a woman-down goal just 38 seconds in
- After the Purple Knights pulled within two, 8-10, one final time with 10:59 to play, the Tigers put the match away with three unanswered for a 13-8 score-line with just 6:52 remaining
