LAKEWOOD, N.J. – The HFU women's lacrosse team was tied with five-time defending Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) champion Georgian Court early in the third quarter, before the Lions pulled away for an eventual 10-15 win over the Tigers in a CACC Tournament First Round matchup on Tuesday.
Individual Highlights
- Lynn Hardy (Audubon, N.J./Camden Catholic) led all players with nine draw controls and added a team-high three goals for her fourth hat trick of the season
- She also had two ground balls to end the year tied for sixth in the program's single-season history with 47
- Tori Wolstenholme (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert's) had the match's second highest total with six draw controls, and she led HFU with a career-best four caused turnovers and three ground balls
- Wolstenholme ends the year fifth in the program's single-season annals with 87 draw controls
- Rianna Shields (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock South), Emma Hurley (Willow Grove, Pa./Upper Moreland) (season-high) and Maura Coleman (Lower Moreland, Pa./Little Flower) all had three ground balls as well
- Shields scored once to move into a tie for seventh in program history with 122 career goals
- Hurley made seven saves in net to end the year seventh in the program's single-season history with 149 stops
- Tatceyana Pulley (Edgewater Park, N.J./Burlington City) matched Hardy with three points via two goals and an assist, while Mackenzie Santucci (Columbus, N.J./Northern Burlington Regional (RCBC)) also scored twice
- Santucci ends the year sixth in the program's single-season annals with 68 points
- Payton Pugh (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert's) caused three turnovers

How it Happened
- After the first quarter ended 1-1, despite HFU outshooting the Lions 8-3, the Tigers took their first lead, 3-2 just 3:42 into the second, following back-to-back scores by Rachael Sepcic (Robbinsville, N.J./Robbinsville (Georgian Court/Rowan)) and Pulley that were 29 seconds apart
- Georgian Court would respond with three goals in a row though, beginning a 1-4 run that ended with the Lions on top 4-6 2:30 ahead of the break
- Santucci would cut the deficit to one heading into the half on a goal with 49 seconds on the clock
- Santucci then tied the score 1:29 into the second half, and Pulley did so again at 7-7 with 10:43 left in the third period
- Georgian Court with tally three unanswered once more, the final of which made it 7-10 41 seconds ahead of the final quarter
- Hardy cut the deficit to two one final time just 22 seconds into the fourth, but the Lions would put the match away four unanswered for an 8-14 advantage with 3:06 to go
