Women’s Lacrosse Cannot Overcome Early Deficit in 13-18 Loss to Millersville

PHILADELPHIA – Millersville scored the first three goals and the HFU women's lacrosse team could never recover in an eventual 13-18 setback to the Marauders on Wednesday evening at Tiger Field.

Individual Highlights
  • Mackenzie Santucci (Columbus, N.J./Northern Burlington Regional (RCBC)) and Tatceyana Pulley (Edgewater Park, N.J./Burlington City) tied for a match-high with four goals apiece
    • Santucci added an assist to lead Holy Family with five points and move into 10th in program history with 127 for her career
    • The four goals tied a career-best for Pulley
  • Payton Pugh (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert's) led all players with four caused turnovers, tying a career-bet, while also pacing the Tigers with four ground balls for the match's second-highest total
  • Tori Wolstenholme (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert's) had four draw controls for the match's second highest total, to go along with two caused turnovers and two ground balls
  • Rianna Shields (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock South) also tallied a hat trick, adding an assist for four points
  • Emma Hurley (Willow Grove, Pa./Upper Moreland) stopped more than half the shots she faced, making a season-best 19 saves
