STATEN ISLAND – Three Tigers medaled, highlighted by Nishorn Pierre (Grenada/Jamaica College) winning the high jump for the second week in a row with another NCAA provisional, as the HFU men's track & field team closed out the calendar year at Wagner's Seahawk Shootout hosted at Ocean Breeze Athlete Complex on Friday.

Pierre cleared .01m higher than last Friday, 2.15m, to move into a tie for the Division II lead as he topped the field of 17.

Pierre also landed at an NCAA provisional and school record, 15.04m, to win silver in the triple jump, which would have ranked third in Division II over the opening weekend.

Kouto Anyika (Philadelphia, Pa./Pennwood) and Terrence Jones (East Orange, N.J./William Allen/LCTI) medaled for the second week in a row as well.

Anyika broke his own school record in the 300m by over a second, 34.18, to place second out of 117 entries, while Jones won bronze with a time of 8.35 in the 60m hurdle field of 26.

Andre Henneghan (Upper Darby, Pa./Upper Darby), Andrae Johnson (Egg Harbor City, N.J./Oakcrest) and Al-Amin Page (Mays Landing, N.J./Oakcrest) notably made their collegiate debut.
