HFU's Nishorn Pierre (Grenada/Jamaica College) has been named the first East Coast Conference (ECC) Indoor Field Athlete of the Week of the 2023-24 season for his performance at the Fast Track Season Opener on Friday. 

The junior native picks up where he left off last year, when he received the same honor three times.  

Pierre cleared the second highest height in all of Division II over the weekend, an NCAA provisional 2.14m, to win the high jump ahead of 17 other competitors. 

He also placed fifth out of 48 in the long jump with a collegiate PR of 7.09m.
