HFU women's basketball received two of the three Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) weekly awards, with
Taylor Hinkle (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South) repeating as Player of the Week and
Carly Bolivar (Elmont, N.Y./Sewanhaka (Alliance)) being named the Defensive Player of the Week.
Hinkle averaged a double-double of 11.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week, highlighted by a 15-point, 16-reobound performance in the Tigers' upset at No. 8 Bentley on Monday.
The sophomore's 16 boards were a new career-high and were seven more than any other player, while her 15 points also led all players.
Hinkle began the week with seven points and five boards in Saturday's victory at Dominican.
Bolivar led both wins in steals, totaling seven, as she helped HFU force a total of 30 turnovers while limiting the two opponents to 50.0 points per game on 32.2 percent shooting.
She began the week with three steals on Saturday, before recording four in the upset victory of the Falcons.
