Nishorn Pierre (Grenada/Jamaica College) has won his second consecutive East Coast Conference (ECC) Field Athlete of the Week award to begin the indoor track & field season, the league offices announced on Monday.  
 
The junior set two NCAA provisionals at the Seahawk Shootout on Friday, highlighted by winning the high jump for the second week in a row.
 
Pierre cleared .01m higher than the week prior, 2.15m, to top the field of 17 and move into a tie for fourth in all of Division II. 
 
He also landed at an NCAA provisional and school record 15.04m to win silver in the triple jump, moving into sixth in Division II in the process.
