PHILADELPHIA – Emma McNamee (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert Catholic) took home the silver at the 2023 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship on Sunday morning at Belmont Plateau, helping the HFU women's cross country team tie a program record with a third place finish at the event. 
 
The Tigers accumulated 99 points to finish just nine points out of second place. Jefferson won the event with 39.
 

• McNamee navigated the 5K course in 20:36.6, nearly 20 seconds ahead of the bronze medalist, to earn All-CACC honors for the second year in a row
• Maya Harper (Pleasantville, N.J./Pleasantiville) finished 18th in her CACC Championship debut after completing the course in 22:13.3
• Zane' McNeil (Pleasantville, N.J./Charter Tech) (22:41.5) and Jade Jones (Philadelphia, Pa./Hydel) (22:56.0) both improved 13 positions from last year's event, crossing in 23rd and 26th
• Kenisha Greenwood (Saint Ann, Jamaica/Edwin Allen) made her CACC Championship debut, placing in the top-half of the field in 23:17.9
• Paris Hayden (Brooklyn, N.Y./Pocono Mountain) (23:54.6) and Amber Fisgaer (Philadelphia, Pa./Bensalem) (24:33.4) both recorded their best-ever finishes at the Championship as well, crossing 37th and 43rd
