PHILADELPHIA – The HFU volleyball team traveled to Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Jefferson on Wednesday, falling to the Rams in three sets. 
 
Individual Highlights

• Maeve Boylan (Ridley Township, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) was one of two players with double-digit digs, finishing with 14
• Morgan Steck (Lakewood, Colo./Lakewood) posted a team-high 23 assists, while Brianna Moss (Gainesville, Va./Battlefield) led the Tigers with two aces
  • Steck is now sixth in program history with 1,269 career assists
• Natasha Yanief (Pittsburgh, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) paced HFU with seven kills, with Ava Kidd (Walton, Ky./Larry A. Ryle (Saint Anselm)) adding six and Jayden Bralts (Jupiter, Fla./Jupiter) and Shelby Kinzer (Sioux Falls, S.D./Washington) five

 
How it Happened
First Set (17-25)

• Holy Family tied it at 13 with a 4-1 flurry that began with a Kinzer kill, but Jefferson pulled away with five of the next six points

Second Set (15-25)

• The Tigers made a push to within 12-14 with five unanswered that featured two Yanief kills and two Moss aces, but the Rams re-established a cushion with three consecutive points

Third Set (18-25)

• Holy Family led 10-3 early and 13-11 after back-to-back kills by Kidd, but Jefferson took control with five straight points that completed a 3-13 stretch
