BLOOMFIELD, N.J. Up 2-0 and having not allowed a shot on goal in the first 75 minutes, the HFU women's soccer team fell victim to a 2-2 comeback draw at Bloomfield on Saturday afternoon.
The Bears equalized on a penalty with an even 15 minutes remaining, before coming through with the equalizer just 1:14 ahead of the final whistle.
Jacqueline Ziegler (Feasterville, Pa./Neshaminy) had put Holy Family ahead 1-0 with an assist from
Hannah Florentino (Philadelphia, Pa./Nazareth Academy) in the 13th minute, before
Carly Nothnagel (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) made it 2-0 just 1:34 prior to Bloomfield's penalty.

- Nothnagel hit the post just over two minutes later
- Ziegler made it three chances in five and half minutes as she was denied in the 29th
- Bloomfield had two shots off target in the final six minutes
Second Half
- Alyssa Hooten (Pocono Summit, Pa./Pocono Mountain East) had a pair of attempts in the opening five minutes, the first of which forced a save 2:02 in
- HFU's final seven shots were on frame, the first of which came from Maura Kilkenny (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Little Flower) in the 59th minute
- Megan Kennedy (Philadelphia, Pa./Nazareth Academy) and Kilkenny were then denied just over a minute apart in the 64th and 65th
- Loper and Brynn Hess (Benton, Pa./Benton) forced saves less than two minutes apart in the 70th and 71st
- Maddie Maguire (Sewell, N.J./Nazareth Academy (Rider)) had the first attempt after the score became 2-1, as she was denied in the 80th
- The Tigers' final opportunity for insurance came when Kilkenny headed high from a corner in the 86th minute
