Women’s Soccer Held to Draw After Two Late Bloomfield Goals

BLOOMFIELD, N.J.  Up 2-0 and having not allowed a shot on goal in the first 75 minutes, the HFU women's soccer team fell victim to a 2-2 comeback draw at Bloomfield on Saturday afternoon.

The Bears equalized on a penalty with an even 15 minutes remaining, before coming through with the equalizer just 1:14 ahead of the final whistle.

Jacqueline Ziegler (Feasterville, Pa./Neshaminy) had put Holy Family ahead 1-0 with an assist from Hannah Florentino (Philadelphia, Pa./Nazareth Academy) in the 13th minute, before Carly Nothnagel (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) made it 2-0 just 1:34 prior to Bloomfield's penalty.
